Band of Brothers

Here’s our whole gang in Haiti this week. We took on some challenging projects to help restore and organize the Lazarus Project’s missions there (supporting a school and orphanage). And we had some awesome opportunities to reach out to the people, who in return touched our hearts.

The words haven’t come to me yet to write about death and destruction. I’m not sure they will. I also didn’t write any detail about the two tremors that rocked us out of bed between 1 and 2 a.m. today. I’ve got some more posts in me that focus on our work and some other extra special moments that are hard to describe.

Andy Hafer did a good write up on this morning’s aftershocks. He blogged exactly what we were all thinking.

And his brother Tom not only helped enlighten our trip every evening with prepared devotionals, but he also presents a truly worthwhile read on his personal perspective. I urge you to check out their writings if this stuff interests you.
